G-Rebels Telemetry for SimHub - Changelog
(R) 2026 - DannyDan

1.1.0 - 2026-10-28
------------------
Added
  - Support for the game's new "Expanded" telemetry output (game update
of 2026-10-27). The plugin detects SimRacingStudio or Expanded by
itself and shows it as "Game output" on the plugin page.
  - Expanded drives the platform exactly like SimRacingStudio: surge,
sway and heave are derived from the game's velocity changes, scaled
and clamped like the SimRacingStudio channels. Existing motion
    profiles carry over.
  - Weapon, hit and collision data for haptics (Expanded only):
    Weapons.PrimaryImpulse / SecondaryImpulse and counts,
    Impacts.HitImpulse / HitStrength / HitCount,
    Impacts.CollisionImpulse / CollisionStrength / CollisionCount.
  - Thrust inputs: Input.Forward, Input.Vertical, Input.Lateral.
  - The definition fields rounds_fired, fire_impulse and missiles_fired
are filled (the definition itself is unchanged).
  - Properties Bridge.Layout and the raw Expanded values
    (Expanded.Float04 ... Float18, Expanded.Int13 ... Int16).
  - ShakeIt profile "G-Rebels - ERS3": primary and secondary weapon,
hits, collisions and the three thruster groups.
  - Motion profile "G-Rebels - DannyDan - starting point" (6DOF hexapod),
meant as a starting point to tune from.
  - Plugin version on the plugin page and in the SimHub log.
  - Installer, README and this changelog; package script for releases.

Changed
  - The interpolation to about 66 Hz is now only applied when the game
sends less than 50 Hz. The game sends about 60 Hz since the update
(33 Hz before), where it is not needed.
  - Datagrams in an unknown layout are counted and logged once per
length instead of being dropped silently.

Fixed
  - With the game's Expanded output, version 1.0 read the data in the
old layout and sent attitude values in the thousands of degrees.

1.0.0 - 2026-09-12
------------------
  - First release: bridges the native telemetry of G-Rebels (output
SimRacingStudio) into SimHub through the external-sim definition
"G Rebels", replacing the external bridge tool.
  - Signal conditioning: interpolation from 33 Hz, 3-tap smoothing of the
accelerations, roll as a tilt cue, gimbal guard near vertical, menu
    detected as paused.
  - Plugin page with master switch, status and live values.
